Ayeshah The Star Rider. I was inspired by Jedi Master Mace Windu, as well as the Michael Jackson Wii game, when coming up with the name for this release.

The photos came from a “complimentary” shoot at Broadway Studios in London. It turned out to be a scam — they got me in a room afterwards and swindled me out of £250. Still got the photos though. A few years later, I ended up using them for this EP.

This project documents the emotional rollercoaster that was age 23 to 25: moving from Leicester to Manchester, heartbreak, surviving a flat fire, leaving the fashion industry behind… and a dead pet fish.

Life felt wild, uncertain, and occasionally ridiculous. So I made music about it.
